The Valencia SNAP Flyers are proud members of the American Special Hockey Association (ASHA), open to athletes with developmental disabilities of all ages, genders and experience. Training, coaching & equipment provided. No hockey experience required, just ability to ice skate and the desire to play!!

Program Description
SNAP Sports has a seasonal hockey program that lasts from January through May annually. Players, Coaches and Volunteers part of the program are registered athletes with SNAP and ASHA.
The hockey program has dues due upon start of the season. Rates will be announced prior to the start of the season. Payment plans can be arranged . Please communicate this with Coaches.
Practices will be held weekly at The Cube. Scrimmages against other teams will replace practices throughout the season. Additional opportunities to attend tournaments and other special events will be communicated to the team and are voluntary.
We welcome new players that that show ice skating proficiency during the adaptive skate program. Interest in becoming part of the team should be communicated to the SNAP coaches for review.
We are always looking for volunteers to assist athletes on and off the ice. Volunteer hours are provided.
Requirements
- SNAP Sports Membership in good standing
- Regular attendance with SNAP Developmental Skating Program
- Skating proficiency
- Coaching Staff approval
- Hockey Dues for active season due by end of first month of practice
- Early onboarding of SNAP to any SDP program
